Mindfulness completely changed my life. I used to be a very type-A personality. I was always living in the past (causing depression) or the future (causing anxiety). Mindfulness allowed me, for the first time since childhood, to really stop and just look around me. To notice what I’m feeling, what I’m sensing in my surroundings. It introduced me to the now, a time in which everything seems more manageable. Yoga also allowed me to get in touch with myself, in the now. With Be Embodied, LLC’s help, I learned how to calm my body, calm my breathing, and therefore, calm my mind. It’s helped me through stressful situations at work and in my personal life. I can truly say I live a fuller life now that Be Embodied, LLC has taught me about mindfulness and yoga.
